Woman recovering after being shot several times

A woman has been shot several times in Belfast.

She was found with multiple gunshot wounds to her lower body in Lord Street Mews in the east of the city, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said.

She was taken to hospital after police were called to the scene at around 10.40pm yesterday.

Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, a PSNI spokeswoman said.
