Patients neglecting medicines dose, report claims

A new report claims up to 30% of Irish patients aren't taking enough medication to cure them or relieve their symptoms.

The study, carried out by the Irish Platform for Patients' Organisations, Science and Industry finds that number rises to up to 50% for long-term illnesses such as breast cancer and osteoporosis.
