President Higgins denies bias in lecture

President Michael D Higgins has defended a lecture he gave on ethics and said some of the criticism has been a complete distortion of what he said.

Mr Higgins vowed to continue to speak out on the issue and hit out at those who disagreed with him for turning the debate into personal abuse.
