Three held following armed robbery in Dublin

Three people have been arrested after an armed raid on a Dublin petrol station.

At 9pm this evening, two men wearing balaclavas and armed with a knife and a handgun entered the filling station on the Clonsilla Road and threatened staff before stealing a quantity of cash.

They were intercepted by gardaí as they left the station.

The two men, one in his late teens and the other in his 20s - and a woman in her 40s who was driving their car - were arrested. They are being held at Blanchardstown Garda Station.
