Up to 3,000 jobs on offer at career expo in Dublin

Almost 3,000 jobs will be up for grabs at a careers expo in Dublin this weekend.

Career Zoo is to take place in The Convention Centre on the River Liffey.

Thousands of tech, pharma and IT positions will be on offer with hundreds of big name companies.

Brian Ó hOisín is a Director of Career Zoo:

We've got big names like Amazon, Pramerica. Murex, Boston Scientific, Accenture - who've just announced 140 positions - then we've got the big finance companies, like Certus, who've just recently announced 300 roles," he said.

There are also roles available in the capital's booming tech sector.

"Really exciting tech startup companies are going to be actively hiring, and also some really cool indigenous Irish tech companies," Ó hOisín said.
