Another Labour Senator is defying the party and is campaigning to save the Seanad.

Another Labour Senator is defying the party and is campaigning to retain the Seanad.

Denis Landy said he is now campaigning for a 'No' vote on October 4 and will join up with the Democracy Matters group for a canvas in Waterford tomorrow.

Earlier this week fellow Labour Senators John Whelan and John Kelly announced they would campaign to save the Seanad.

Labour is officially campaigning to scrap the upper house in next month's vote.
