Meath local charged with wife's murder

A man has appeared before Trim District court charged with the murder of his wife at their County Meath home last weekend.

Mariusz Daniel Sarzynski was brought before a special sitting late last night, charged in connection with the murder of 31 year old Aleksandra Sarzynska.

She was found dead at the couple's apartment in Beaufort Place last Friday week.

He has been remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court next week.
