Man, 36, arrested in connection with Navan murder

A 36-year-old man has been arrested by Gardaí in Navan investigating the murder of a mother of two in the town last weekend.

Gardaí confirmed that the man, who was receiving medical treatment, was arrested this afternoon and taken to Navan garda station for questioning.

He has been detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

31-year-old Aleksandra Sarzynska, from Bective House, Beaufort Place, in Navan was found dead in her home last Friday.
