Sinn Féin to hold first annual think-in
Sinn Féin is the first party to hold its annual think-in ahead of the return of the Dáil.
The party's TDs and Senators are meeting in Carlingford, Co Louth today to plan their strategies for the Seanad referendum and the upcoming Budget.
Sinn Féin's Deputy President Mary Lou McDonald said the party will look to target higher earners in its Budget proposals.
"It is preferable in a time where we need to raise revenues and where things are extremely tight that you levy an additional proportion on people on very high individual incomes rather than going back to the pockets of people in the middle income brackets again."
