Kerry man shot dead in Namibia

The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed it is providing consular assistance to the family of an Irish man killed in Namibia.

The victim, named locally as Ray Prenderville, was shot last night.

Mr Prenderville who had been working in security in Africa, is a former Garda and Kerry footballer.
