Man falls to his death from balcony in Limerick

A man has fallen to his death from a five-storey block of flats in Limerick city, in what Gardaí have described as a tragic accident.

The man, believed to be a non-Irish national, fell from a balcony from an apartment on Mount Kenneth Place at around 2.30pm this afternoon.

He was rushed to Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick where he was pronounced dead.

Gardaí at Henry Street are appealing for witnesses.
