Man's body recovered from Dublin canal

The body of a man in his 20s has been recovered in Dublin.

The remains were recovered from the Grand Canal Dock area of the city yesterday afternoon.

It is understood that Dublin Fire Brigade were alerted to the incident after the man was seen in difficulty.

A search and rescue helicopter had been tasked to the scene to assist in the recovery.
