Letterkenny General hospital expands services after flooding
Management at Letterkenny General Hospital report the Emergency Department is continuing to expand its services following last month's flooding.
The hospital said it is now open to ambulances carrying patients from the north and west of County Donegal.
It said self-presenting patients will be accepted from noon tomorrow, and that management are now reviewing their timetable for re-opening the hospital to emergency admissions from the entire county.
Emergency patients have been accommodated in hospitals in Sligo, Altnagelvin and Enniskillen since a roof collapsed in the emergency ward during heavy rains last month.
