Belfast house damaged in pipe bomb blast

A pipe bomb has exploded at the front door of a house in North Belfast.

A pipe bomb has exploded at the front door of a house in North Belfast.

Minor damage was caused but there were no injuries in the blast in Carlisle Square, New Lodge, an inner-city residential area.

The incident happened at around 10.30pm last night and police have appealed for anybody with information to contact them.
