Body identified as that of missing man

The body of a 22-year-old man, who was reported missing from his home in Ennis, Co Clare last weekend - has been found.

The remains of Seamus Higgins were discovered earlier in the Claureen River in the Dún na hÍnse part of Ennis town.

The body has been removed to University Hospital Limerick for a post mortem examination.

However, early indications are that it is being treated as a tragic incident.
