Drugs worth around £70,000 (€81,000) and a sawn-off shotgun have been recovered during a police raid in Co Antrim.

Detectives from the PSNI’s organised crime branch swooped on a house in the Rathenraw area of Antrim.

Two men, both aged 29, were arrested and are assisting detectives with their inquiries at Antrim police station.

The search was part of an investigation into the alleged importation and supply of methedrone and money laundering offences.

An estimated 3.5kg of the drug with an estimated street value of £70,000 (€81k) was recovered by the PSNI and Border Force officials.
