Motorists advised of delays after car overturns on M50

In Dublin, motorists are being advised to expect significant delays after a car overturned on the M50 motorway this afternoon.

The incident -involving at least two cars-happened on the northbound section - just before Junction 16 at Cherrywood.

It is understood no one received any life threatening injuries.

The road has been closed and gardaí say it is expected to remain closed for some time.

Traffic is being diverted onto the N11 and drivers are being advised to expect delays.
