Letterkenny emergency department to be up and running within days

It is hoped the Emergency Department at Letterkenny General Hospital will be up and running within days.

At a media briefing today, the HSE and hospital management said mobile units are on site that would allow the service to return shortly.

It was pointed out however, that it will be many more months before all services can be resumed at the hospital.
