Talks over Dublin Bus strike conclude at Labour Court

Talks have concluded at the Labour Court between management and unions at Dublin Bus.
In a statement this morning, Dublin Bus said complex issues have been dealt with and both sides are now awaiting clarification from the Labour Court on a number of aspects of its original recommendation.
Both sides were invited to talks after a three day strike by staff at Dublin Bus which was prompted by a row over the implementation of an €11.7m cost cutting plan.
Services returned to normal yesterday morning following the intervention of the Labour Court with SIPTU, the NBRU and UNITE agreeing to suspend the strike action and enter discussions.
