A priest on the board of governors of the Mater hospital in Dublin said it "cannot comply" with the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Act.

Speaking to the Irish Times, Father Kevin Doran said the hospital cannot carry out abortions because it goes against its Catholic ethos.
