RSA issues flood warnings for motorists as forecasters predict tornadoes in Ireland

The Road Safety Authority is advising all road users to take extra care as heavy rain and localised flooding is expected across the country today and tomorrow.

Met Éireann has issued a weather warning and is predicting up to 40 millimetres of rain, heaviest in the west.
