European forecasters predict isolated tornadoes for Ireland

European forecasters Estofex have said that there could be tornadoes over Ireland either today or tomorrow.

The European Severe Weather Database said the stormy, windy and rainy conditions are perfect for isolated tornado incidents.

Met Eireann said they do not forecast tornadoes as they are "notoriously hard to predict".

However, meteorologist Joanna Donnelly said funnel clouds are possible.
