Teenage girl dead, three injured in Dublin bus-car crash
A 19-year-old man remains in a serious condition in Tallaght hospital in Dublin following a road crash which left a 17-year-old girl dead yesterday.
The incident involving a car and a bus happened on the Greenhills road in Walkinstown at approximately 5pm.
The girl, who was the front-seat passenger in the car, was fatally injured and brought to Tallaght Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The 19-year-old male driver of the car was also taken to hospital with serious injuries. The driver and one passenger from the bus were taken to St James’s Hospital with injuries described as minor.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Crumlin Garda Station.
The road between Walkinstown roundabout and Ballymount has reopened this morning.
