Gardaí arrest man after finding 500 cannabis plants in Dublin

A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a drugs seizure in Dublin.

Around 500 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €400,000 were found in a commercial premises in the Clondalkin Industrial Estate yesterday.

Gardaí say a sophisticated cultivation system was in operation at the site.

The man in custody is being held at Clondalkin Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
