FF calls on Taoiseach to explain contact with Anglo officials

The Taoiseach has been asked to give a detailed explanation of his contact with senior officials in Anglo Irish Bank during the banking crisis.

Yesterday, the Sunday Independent published details of an email which showed the then-leader of the opposition contacted a senior Anglo official in 2008 - before the bank was nationalised - to brief them on Government policy.
