Swimmers urged to only swim in supervised beaches

Swimmers are being urged to only swim in beaches that are supervised by lifeguards.

That is the message from the CEO of the Irish Water Safety group John Leech-the warning comes after eight people lost their lives in Irish waters since the heatwave first began more than a week ago.
