Protests expected as Orange Order set to march

In the North, protests are expected to take place in Belfast today, as the Orange Order attempts to march through the nationalist Ardoyne area.

Last week, orangemen were denied access to their traditional route by police following a ruling by the Parades Commission.

They made a second request to march the route later today, but were turned down again.

The parade is due to start at 2.30pm this afternoon.
