Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Dublin city centre last night.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Dublin city centre last night.

The 37-year-old man was stabbed at the junction of Aston Quay and Price's Lane shortly before 10pm last night.

He is being treated at St James's Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Two women in their 30's were arrested shortly after the assault - both have been released without charge with a file prepared for the DPP.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Pearse Street Garda Station.
