A garda convicted of insurance fraud is to be sentenced next week at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

A jury found Garda Paul Fogarty (aged 28) guilty of fraud but acquitted him of harassing a garage owner and his father after a dispute arose over the crash repairs that he been carried out on the Fogarty’s Toyota Celica.
