Four arrested after sixth night of disorder in North

Four people were arrested across the North last night on a sixth night of disorder.

The PSNI said that it was calmer than previous nights - with no police officers injured and no water cannon deployed.

However, police in Newtonabbey were targeted by youths throwing missiles and officers recovered six petrol bombs.

The unrest started over the Parades Commission's decision to ban the Orange Order from marching in the Ardoyne.

The Commission will today rule on a request for a fresh march in the republican area this weekend.
