The family of a Donegal man who died by suicide claims not enough mental health supports are available for those who need them.

47-year-old John McLaughlin died last Thursday on the anniversary of Ireland's worst road tragedy which claimed the life of his son Mark.

Mark, was one of eight people who died in the crash in Inishowen in 2010.

"I am very cross and very sad because I have lost my brother," said John's sister Tina Breslin.

"They are on there all the time talking about help

"John was a crying victim for help, I think there should be a policy but there should be something in place that can help these people and maybe save somebody else's life."
