Gardaí in Naas are appealing for the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of a missing 52-year-old man.

Gardaí in Naas are appealing for the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of a missing 52-year-old man.

Bernard Crofton was last seen on Saturday when he left his home at Castlewarden in Straffan.

He is driving a blue BMW 318 with a 07 D 47879 registration number and when last seen he was wearing blue jeans and a blue polo shirt.

He is described as being 5 foot 7 inches in height and is of average build with balding grey hair to the side and light blue eyes.

He put petrol in his car just after 1pm at a filling station in Kill and was later seen in the Roundwood area of Co. Wicklow at 3:15 pm.

His movements since that time are unknown.
