Oil spill in Dublin closes Skerries North Beach

Skerries North Beach in Dublin has been closed this afternoon after a minor oil spill in Skerries Harbour.

Fingal County Council staff say they are dealing with the spill, and have confirmed that the oil has not yet reached the beach.

The beach is not a designated bathing spot, the council says people should stay away from the beach until further notice.
