EU selects Ballymun for Youth Guarantee Scheme

The Minister for Social Protection, Joan Burton TD, has confirmed that Ballymun in Dublin has been selected as one of the first Youth Guarantee Schemes to proceed in the EU.

Under the pilot project, the Department of Social Protection, education and training providers and employers, will team up to provide work, training and educational opportunities for young people in the area.
