SBP poll shows 4% fall in support for FF

Support for Fianna Fáil has fallen following the revelations in the Anglo tapes, according to the latest Red C poll to be published in tomorrow's Sunday Business Post.

Fine Gael jumps two points since last month to 28%, once again opening a gap between the two parties which had previously been neck-and-neck in political support.

According to the poll, the drop in support for Fianna Fáil by four points last month is a reversal of the trend of rising support for the party that had been evident since last year, leaving them on 22%.

Labour gains by a point since last month to 12%, as does Sinn Féin on 17%.

Support for Independents and smaller parties is steady on 21%.

The poll was conducted among more than 1,000 voters nationwide last Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
