The Minister for Justice Alan Shatter has said the new Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill does not go far enough.

The Minister said he hopes to be part of a Government that addresses the issue of abortions for women who are the victims of rape or who have been told their baby has a fatal foetal abnormality.
