HSE fined €500k for health and safety breaches that led to death of Cavan paramedic
The Health Service Executive has been fined €500,000 for health and safety breaches that led to the death of a paramedic in Cavan in 2010.
Simon Sexton from Stradone in Cavan died in June 2010 when the door of the ambulance opened while they were bringing a patient to Dublin.
The HSE pleaded guilty to criminal charges of relating to the death of a the father of six.
