Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Meath crash between motorbike and car

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a fatal crash between a motorbike and a car in Co Meath yesterday.

A motorcyclist in his fifties was killed, and the female driver of the car was uninjured, in the collision at Millbrook Road in Oldcastle shortly after 5pm.

A post mortem examination will take place later on the motorcyclist's body.

The road was closed for a time but has since re-opened.

Gardaí in Kells are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward.
