German MEP resigns as Tánaiste accused of manipulating EU Budget talks

The Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore has rejected an accusation of manipulating the EU Budget negotiations.

Mr Gilmore and the European Parliament’s chief negotiator Alain Lamassoure agreed on a joint text on the Multi-annual Financial Framework in Brussels on Wednesday evening.
