Man in custody over Letterkenny murder

Gardai in Letterkenny have arrested a man in connection with the murder of a Polish man in the town last month.

The body of Bogdan Michalkiawicz was discovered by his brother at an apartment on the main street in the town on the morning of May 15.

It is understood he had been stabbed a number of times.

A 47-year-old man was arrested last night and is being questioned at Letterkenny garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
