Polish man wins Cork City Marathon; Olympian wins women's marathon
A Polish man has won the Cork City Marathon.
Bartosz Muzerski came in on a time of 2 hours 28 minutes and 29 seconds, just 23 seconds ahead of Dundalk man Gary O’Hanlon.
The winner of the women’s marathon was Olympian Pauline Curley with a time of of 2 hours 47 minutes and 44 seconds.
More than 8,000 runners took part in the Cork City Marathon this morning.
This afternoon tens of thousands more are expected to take to the streets of Dublin for the Flora Women's Mini Marathon which is due to get underway at 2pm.
