Households cannot afford to meet property tax deadline
A fifth of households said they will miss the property tax payment deadline because they do not have the money.
That is according to the Irish League of Credit Unions which has released its latest What's Left? Tracker Survey.
Although the number of people surviving on less than €50 a month - once bills are paid - has fallen, it is believed this is because they are now managing their finances better.
The ICLU's Mandy Johnston said many people cannot cope with the added pressure of the property tax.
