Families of Stardust victims call for new inquiry
The families of the Stardust victims have said they want a new inquiry into the true cause of the fire at the nightclub.
It has been 33 years since 48 young people lost their lives at a Valentines night disco in Artane in Dublin.
A 2009 inquiry overturned an original verdict of arson but did not call for a new investigation into the circumstances behind the fire.
Antoinette Keegan from the Stardust Victims Group said they feel abandoned by the Government.
"When they were in power or in opposition they told us they would support us and they backed us 100%," she said.
"Now we have tried to make arrangements to go in and meet them and they just blank us, ignore us totally."
