A Cavan childminder has been charged in connection with an assault on a baby.

A Cavan childminder has been charged in connection with an assault on a baby.

32-year-old Sandra Higgins from The Beeches, Drumgola was brought before Cavan District Court charged with intentionally or recklessly causing harm to a 10-month-old girl on the March 28 last year.

She has been remanded on bail.
