INMO recommends members accept new pay deal
The Executive Council of the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation is recommending acceptance of the new "Haddington Road" pay proposals to its membership.
The union says the proposals mitigate the disproportionate and discriminatory measures that were mooted under Croke Park 2.
However, the INMO executive also said the Government's insistence on increasing the working week for nurses and midwives, as well as the introduction of an optional graduate programme, will continue to be a source of frustration to its members.
