Gardaí question Dean's stepfather in connection with Coolock stabbing
Gardaí are continuing to question a 42-year-old man in connection with the murder of Dean Fitzpatrick.
The 23-year-old the brother of Dublin teenager Amy Fitzpatrick, who went missing in Spain in 2008, died on Saturday night after he was stabbed following a row at an apartment on the Malahide Road in Dublin.
Dave Mahon, Dean's stepfather, is being questioned in connection with the murder and can be held for 24 hours without charge.
It is being reported that the the 42-year-old man handed himself in to Coolock Garda Station at around 11.30am on Sunday morning, and was arrested after being interviewed for several hours.
