Two brothers have created frozen yogurts for dogs.

Roman and Raoul Krohn, who are from Germany, have come up with a scrummy salmon and beef flavoured dessert for canines after concocting an unusual recipe since taking inspiration from their grandmother who used to tell them off for feeding their pet pooch normal ice cream.

The twins set up a business after trying out several different flavours to perfect the frozen yogurt but found that salmon and beef were proven to be the animals' favourite.

Roman told the Berliner Zeitung newspaper: "The wild salmon flavour tastes fishy with a light, fruity note. The beef flavour has a less intense taste by comparison."

The frozen yogurt for dogs can be found at shops in Berlin for $2.19 per 80ml tub.
