Lord Mayor says Mansion House is haunted

The Lord Mayor of Dublin has claimed the Mansion House is haunted.

Fine Gael Councillor Naoise O'Muiri has told the Irish Sun that his daughter was once spooked by a ghost in the iconic building, which dates back to 1705.

He says the four year old experienced the encounter as she walked from her room, through the sitting room and into her parent's room in the middle of the night.

She said she saw a girl with dark curly hair watching TV and the Mayor is adamant that it was a ghost.
