Gardaí in Donegal are investigating the death of man in Letterkenny.

Gardaí in Donegal are today investigating the death of man in Letterkenny.

The man's body was found on Lower Main Street at around 11am this morning.

It is believed the man is a foreign national aged in his 40s.

The scene has been preserved and the State Pathologist's office has been notified.

A post mortem will be carried out later.
