Man dies following lorry collision in Roscommon

A man has died in a road crash in Co Roscommon.

The incident happened at around 5am this morning on the N5 between Tulsk and Ballinagar.

The man was killed when the heavy goods vehicle he was driving collided with another lorry.

The other driver was taken to hospital but it is believed his injuries are not life threatening.

The N5 Longford/Frenchpark Road is currently closed near Tulsk as gardaí carry out a technical examination of the scene. Diversions are in place.
